Camellia
My camellia is blooming! It didn't bloom last year and this year it had a lot of buds but they were taking so long to open I was getting worried. About a week ago they started opening up and look at it now! Camellias are one of my favorite flowers. There are a lot in my neighborhood so I get to look at them when I walk also!

I have never heard of this plant. What a beauty. The flowers look like roses. I have been noticing some bushes around here lately that resemble yours, but they are actually full bushes. I am going to google your plant and see what I can find out. Its beautiful.

They do look like roses. I think that's another reason I like them since I love roses. They can grow into very large bushes so that's probably what you see around your area. They come in lots of pretty colors - pink is my favorite though!
